Her interest in art and literature drew her to study film where she was further inspired by international vintage and classic spectacle. Her love of clean, pure aesthetic coincides with the unconventional cuts of Ian Becks to bring a bold, yet simple image.

Becks knack for cultish edge was evident at a young age. Her attempts to explore her artistic style led Becks in the hands of some amazing innovators of design. Becks is the former right-hand to Carl Jones at California Vintage and assistant designer to Joseph Bass. Her apprenticeships gave her an appreciation for detail, innovation, and creation. Becks' background in theatre also inspired a dramatic, yet subtle approach to the female silhouette.
