FENTON is
a fine jewelry and accessories collection created by Dana Lorenz.
The latest collection is inspired by the cult style of 70s folk/rock
and early glam and the somber words or Morrissey and Oscar Wilde.
Flashes of the stage reveal swirling, animated musicians recalling
performances by Led Zeppelin, the Who, T. Rex, and Bowie with
chain fringe neckace/belts, silk tuxedo scarves with chain details,
and feather pendants dropping from waist-length strands. Charms
from other worlds adorn a selection of necklaces, belts, and key
chains asking, 'do you believe?' Hand beaded stones dripped with
sterling and gold cobweb chains are offered in lariats and multi-length
strands and aged lockets cluster to form nostalgic necklaces and
bracelets. FENTON sparks a memory of when popular music was aggressive
yet spiritual, when folklore was theme and sounds of mysticism
filled the air.
"you
came to me to learn the pleasures of life and the pleasures of
art. perhaps I am chosen to teach you something much more wonderful;
the meaning of sorrow and its beauty." - Oscar Wilde
